Hello
to everybody,
This
was a really good week and to adequately describe it all I need to begin at the
start.
On
Tuesday we had a good district meeting with our district. As it was the
last district meeting of the transfer we took a few pictures and then ate some
Taco Bell. While it does taste good the side effects are not so
pleasant. We did not do any exchanges this week due to how busy we
were. We lost our phone for a few days so it took lots of time to figure
stuff out.
Wednesday
was a good day. We biked up to Apollo Beach and went by a few
neighborhoods there. Apollo Beach is seemingly picturesque in most places
but also has a lot of trailer houses about.
We
spent a lot of the week preparing for General Conference. On Saturday
morning we began the bike ride down to the boonies of the area and went over
two hills. It is a unique experience biking up a hill in Florida as the
heat seems to concentrate on you. The views were nice though. Lots
of farms and small houses that looked cool were seen as we biked through the
streets.
We
watched General Conference with members for all sessions. Saturday
Morning was with the ward clerk Brother Higbee. Saturday Afternoon was
viewed with the Lambson's, Brother Lambson being the young men's
president. We watched the Priesthood session with our ward mission leader
Brother Young. Sunday Morning was with the Hagen's, a part member
family. And we finished it off biking up to the top of our area and
visiting the Bolts for the Sunday Afternoon Session. Watching it with the
members was cool as the spirit was there.
It's
good that we can read these talks again and again so that we can learn from
them more. Neil L. Anderson explained it all better than I can.
All
in all, it was a pretty good week. I hope that you all enjoyed it and had
fun. There has been lots to do with all the work and we will most likely
be busy this next week.
I
hope that all of you do well and have lots of fun,
