Sanctify yourselves: for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you

Hello to everybody,

This past week got crazy in how we found a bunch of people.  In order to give you all a good description of what happened I will go through it all.

It all started with District meeting.  Somehow we got the idea that we should do a daily achievement for each day.  It is something like how many people can you talk to or use the pictures in the pamphlets.  Just cool stuff like that led to the whole district finding a whole bunch of people.  We have a few people who have a date set for baptism.  They seem pretty solid and want to work towards it.  There are also a bunch of people who we taught the Restoration to.  Lots of good things are happening.

The ward is coming along.  The missionary work fever has been picking up speed recently and the ward is wanting to see growth.  Our Bishop told us yesterday that he was obsessed with missionary work which is a good obsession to have.  They do want rapid growth of finding families so we will have to work with that as it's better to baptize one than none by waiting for a whole family.

Apollo Beach is as wide as it has always been.  The boundaries are over twenty miles long west to east.  It goes quite a long way from the north to south borders. Lots of biking to do as it is bike week.

We met with a family named the Lambson's yesterday.  We showed them the I'll go where you want me to go video (which is really good and on LDS.org).  They have been talking to their neighbors lately and doing that aspect of missionary work.  Brother Lambson served a mission in Hawaii.  They are super cool and all that.

Overall, things have been really well.  To close this out, I shall write up a little spiritual thought:

I read about the fall recently in the Pearl of Great Price.  Even though we have to deal with pain, tiredness, wanting to throw up after a long bike ride, all of mortality's vicissitudes actually help us prepare for eternal life.  After all, after the fall, Adam and Eve learned of the Gospel - “And after many days an angel of the Lord appeared unto Adam, saying: Why dost thou offer sacrifices unto the Lord? And Adam said unto him: I know not, save the Lord commanded me. And then the angel spake, saying: This thing is a similitude of the sacrifice of the Only Begotten of the Father, which is full of grace and truth.”  Moses 5:6-7

We just need to do what Joshua says in the subject line and then we will receive blessings as I have seen this week.

I hope that all of you do well and have a good week,

2. The view of the night sky.
3. The industrial plant called Big Ben. It is visible all over the area like the Tower of Babel.
