Hello
to everyone!!!!!!
Things
are going well in Florida. The cold front is leaving and the warmer air from the Gulf and the Atlantic are now coming in so things will be getting
hotter again soon, along with humidity. It's weird but winter will become
my favorite season soon. Well,
that's enough about the weather. I do gripe about it way too much.
Elder Randall and I are doing lots of good work here in Providence. We have a guy who is really close to baptism and is really happy even though he has some physical impediments. It is really cool to see how the Gospel blesses people with getting over bad habits as well as how it brings joy to them. This guy is super excited for baptism and was living all the commandments of the word of wisdom even before we taught him about it! He is definitely prepared to hear the Gospel.

Zone
conference was last Wednesday and we went with the Odessa Zone so there was a
bunch of missionaries in the mission office. The whole thing was about
repentance and how we can help our investigators know how repentance is not
that bad of a thing to do. President Cooper is really cool and does lots
of stuff to help us out. He was talking to the President of the Orlando
Temple and apparently he was a mission President as well. They had a
huge streak for 18 months where every month over a hundred people would be
baptized. President Cooper obviously wanted to learn how it was done but he wasn't able to, yet.
Another
terrifying exchange with the Zone leaders took place last Thursday. I
went with Elder Harden and Elder Treasure in a trio. It consisted of tons
of driving around and eventually we taught through the restoration to a cool
lady and helped some less-actives think about a mission. Elder Harden
ordered pizza at 9:40 p.m and we all ate it and regretted it immensely. That is not the food to be eating that late at night so we all felt weird the next
morning. We played basketball with all the Temple Terrace Elders and that
was really intense. One of the Assistants was really into it and somehow
ran up the wall to get the ball. Missionaries
get really crazy playing basketball…
Just
as a final thing: After Zone Conference we went out to do some finding
and we prayed for the ability to find a family to teach. We then went
around a few streets and almost immediately we found some people that really
love God. They were open to taking an Easter card and meeting with us
later which was really cool. Also, General Conference was good and I really
learned a lot.
