Transfers Abounding

Hey hey hey y'alls on this Monday morning.  The news is in and I am not getting transferred away, though Elder Wismer is.  I am getting an Elder Bledsoe to be with me here.  He may be the one who kills me off (i.e. sends me out).

This past week two people flew out of the blue who want to be taught.  One is a young woman named Jasmine.  Few things are as awkward as when a young woman says you look handsome.  She wants to be baptized but we will need a lot of adult member support so things do not get unruly.

The second person is Suzan.  The Sisters in an area north of us were teaching her but she moved "five feet" into our area.  Unfortunately she did not like the ward too much so she decided to go up the flume and break up / drop us missionaries.  Our Ward Mission Leader is willing to change her mind and has personally volunteered himself to go by and talk to her.  It is quite interesting.

Hurricane Michael passed over Lakeland, poured a large amount of rain over us and then went on its merry way to visit north Florida.  It did not destroy anything here, just kept us inside that day.  Sadly we will not be able to help out up there.

There was a big beard sighting this past week.  This is quite a regular occurrence in the south, people love their beards.  They also love shooting stuff with shotguns.  It is quite the place to be.

That is about all, I love you all,

Love,
Elder Fabricius

Spiritual thought

I felt like putting some words to a hymn I found this week:

Be Thou My Vision,
O Lord of my heart
Naught be all else to me,
Save that Thou art,
Thou my best thought,
By day or by night,
Waking or sleeping
Thy presence is near
