A less - active called for help with moving a large amount of
stuff out of a soon to be evicted house. The people who were going to evict
the house showed up and were going to take everything but fortunately they let
us get everything out by 6:00. It was us, the less - active, and a few members
helping hop, skipping, and jumping a bunch of stuff out of the house.
Largely it was a stressful event because the less - active guy "didn't
know the territory." - [The Music Man, 1962]
We got a U-Haul truck for the move and it took three hours to load
it but only twenty minutes to unload it. Such is the joys of moving
stuff.
Not too much happened this week with long term results with
finding. One day we were able to speak with a host of people but only one
was willing to give us some time. Life is good however, nothing to
complain about.
Cathy is doing great. Her husband Don is slowly softening
bit by bit.
General Conference was great this week. We were able to watch
it with some members. President Nelson's emphasis on the correct name of
the church was quite profound. I also loved Elder Holland's talk.
It was a great conference, one to be remembered.
About the message you received from the Mission President. We don’t know if or how the hurricane will affect us but we have our 72 hour kits ready.

I love you all and hope you have a great week,

Spiritual thought -

The whole section is worth reading. It largely is so much of
what we believe that sometimes we (myself included) think this knowledge has
always been known. These few verses speak about how the work on the other
side goes on. The people blessed with the Gospel are the noble and great
ones.
