September 4

Hello to all who will be reading this email on this fine, resplendent Labor Day,

Apollo Beach is a lot more wide spaced than I thought.  There is a huge smoke stack industrial plant in the northwest corner of the area named Big Ben.  You can always tell where it is due to all the white smoke stacks it blows out.  Besides  the roads and small cities, the area is just filled with rainforest like trees all over.  It feels like we are in a civilized part of the Amazon sometimes.

The ward is not as missionary minded as I thought.  Our ward mission leader, Brother Young, is doing a good job and we have a few ward missionaries.  Bishop Falescini wants everyone to set a date and share the Gospel with someone on that date.  President Hales of the Elders Quorum wants us to respect the head of the household and not teach people repentance or baptism. Everybody else just is wondering what we should do.

The heat is getting unbearable but that is because it is the last few weeks of the summer before it gets reasonable.  The weather is sadistic like that.  There was a lot of rain this past week.  Due to it being bike week, we got super soaked quite a few times.  It's always nice biking towards a few clouds and then a monsoon hits out of nowhere.

Zone conference is tomorrow which is really cool. Whatever President Cooper wishes to talk about it should be amazing.

There has been some news brewing that we have a hurricane nearby.  It is currently hitting some islands and members have been preparing a lot lately.  President Cooper had us check our emergency packs last district meeting so something is going on.  Anywho, we will be prepared if anything happens.

We saw the Uprichards this last Saturday.  They have been doing well and took us to go eat lunch.

Not much happened this week besides we biked around and had many crazy coincidences where we met someone at the right time.  There was no way that fate or circumstance could have worked that out so it has built my testimony of Heavenly Father's planning abilities.

Anywho, I shall end this email out.  I hope that you have a good week and have lots of fun,

Elder Fabricius

I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.

John 11:25-26
